The Soulful Oracle
Cookie Policy.

Learn what this site stores in your browser and choose whether external media can load.
1. Cookies and similar storage
Cookies are small browser records that websites and services can use for functions such as sessions or preferences. This site also uses local storage and session storage, which keep information in your browser but are different from cookies. This policy uses “cookies and similar storage” to cover these technologies.
2. Storage used by this site
The following records support privacy choices and the newsletter popup. They do not hold your name or email address.
| Name | Storage | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
msblue-cookie-preferences-v1 | Local storage | Remembers whether external media is allowed. | Choice expires after 180 days. |
msblue-newsletter-start | Session storage | Times the newsletter invitation across page visits in the same tab. | Browser-tab session. |
msblue-newsletter-dismissed | Session storage | Remembers that you closed or followed the newsletter invitation. | Browser-tab session. |
An expired local preference may remain stored until it is overwritten or you clear site data. Session storage may be restored when a browser restores a tab. Hosting or security services may also use technical cookies for their own delivery or access features.
3. Optional external media
YouTube videos and podcast audio are blocked by default. Choosing Accept all enables the optional category currently available on this site: external media. In Manage cookies, the External media switch controls the same choice.
When allowed, video players connect to YouTube/Google. Podcast audio connects to Spotify/Anchor or Spreaker and their delivery services. These requests can share your IP address, browser or device details, and playback information with the host. The providers may use cookies or similar technologies under their own policies. The exact records and durations vary with the provider, your browser, and any account you have with that provider.
Rejecting optional media leaves links to YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and other original platforms available. Following a link takes you to that provider’s site, where its own choices apply.
4. Analytics, advertising, and offers
This site’s current pages do not include dedicated analytics or advertising-personalization tags. The cookie controls do not turn on analytics or advertising tools. Linked shopping, social, and media platforms may use their own analytics, referral tracking, or offer personalization when you visit them or allow their media.
If additional optional tools are added to this site, the notice and choices should be updated to describe them before use.
5. How to change your choice
- Accept all: allows external media, the optional category currently installed.
- Reject optional: keeps external video and audio players blocked.
- Manage cookies: opens the External media switch so you can save your preferred setting.
- Close with X: closes the banner with optional media blocked.
You can reopen Manage cookies from the footer of any public page or the button on this page. Your setting is saved for this browser on this website; other browsers, devices, and site addresses can have separate settings. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice lasts only for the current page.
Turning the switch off stops and unloads this site’s external players. It cannot erase records already held by an external service. Use your browser’s site-data settings or the provider’s privacy controls to remove those records.
6. Browser controls
Your browser settings can block or delete cookies and site data. Clearing this website’s local or session storage resets saved consent and popup preferences. Blocking necessary storage can cause choices or invitations to appear again.
7. Questions and related policy
Read our Privacy Policy for information about newsletter records, providers, and privacy requests. For questions, use Ms. Blue’s Payhip contact form.
This policy may be updated as the site changes. The date above identifies this version.
